I want to thank him for all the great work he has been doing promoting alternative health and medicine. He truly is a marvelous man.
Don't believe the negative things you'll read about him online on various blogs and sites: they're sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry to bring down the truth. Cancer is a $200 billion dollar industry and this is why they want to silence Dr. Coldwell. Don't fall for this trap but listen to what he has to say and you'll quickly see he's the real deal when it comes to curing cancer.
Hope you have a good set of knee pads, Florian.
ReplyDeleteI don't get that one Connie
DeleteOh, I'm sorry. It was a slightly naughty comment, not suitable for a child friendly blog. Bad, bad Connie.
DeleteGoogle "San Francisco sandals."
Oh now I see you're transferring your phantasies with Dr. C to me, clever move!
DeleteColdwell is the one who apparently has fantasies about me, not vice versa. He has published those fantasies on his and Abe Husein's Facebook pages. I find him utterly disgusting. All I'm saying here, Florian, is that you are, for all practical purposes, on your knees to Coldwell. My sincere apologies to any sensitive readers for the crudity and any unpleasant visuals.
DeleteGrovel grovel grovel!
ReplyDelete"he's the real deal when it comes to curing cancer. " - have you seen any proof Florian? No, didn't think so! Neither has anyone else!
But please be a little Lennion and keep grovelling up to him. Stick your tongue up his ass - no breath mints needed because obviously you think Lenny's shit don't stink!
I've addressed this in my new post
DeleteYour new post draws from Coldwell's silly "Bio" web site, which has been debunked at length on my blog and on Bernie's. Nice try, though, Flor!
DeleteWhat about the pictures in his books with happy cured patients? Or would you mistrust Dr C. so much to call them "actors"?
DeleteI don't have the studies that's something you would have to ask Dr.C, but that doesn't mean his cure rate can be debunked so easily. Everything he advices in his book is common sense and can be seen as a compilation of the other alternative cures around. I guess you have a lot of reading to do on alternative cancer cures besides Dr. C and you'll see it all blends in nicely.
No actually, just about everything he writes in his books is borrowed from theories which were debunked as early as 1910. It is all bad information and its target audience is a group of idiots who can't or won't do their own research. ie, you and coldwell
DeleteYou don't really believe the pharmaceutical industry pays anyone to blog about someone else?
ReplyDeleteI have heard they have some very fine swamp land in Florida, it is going very cheap!
You sure have high security on posting! ugh seriously?

DeleteThat's actually a good example you cited, Florian, and nice to see you using Orac's blog as a source. Orac was clearly dismayed about the situation and was honest about it. In other words, he admitted that yes, Big Pharma DOES play dirty tricks.
DeleteMany big industries play this game, including the food industry and big oil. I've acknowledged that on my own blog. But Big Pharma couldn't care less about two-bit quackadoodles like Coldwell. That's the point that I've been trying to make for years.
It amuses me to be called a Big Pharma Whore, and my friends and I -- not to mention a few journalists with whom I am in contact -- are getting a big kick out of all of this. I'm thinking of getting T-shirts and bumper stickers made.
Coldwell has contradicted himself so many times when trying to discredit me. As I mentioned on your previous post, he has at various times said that I write about him because Big Pharma is paying me, and that I write about him solely because I have a personal vendetta but am NOT being paid to write about him. He can't seem to make up his tiny little mind.
Also, towards the very beginning of his discrediting campaign against me a couple of years ago he made a comment that I was being paid by Big Pharma to write about him, and then asked, in the very same comment, "Why else would she spend thousands of hours writing things that nobody reads?"
Which only raised the question for me: Why would Big Pharma pay ME to write about Coldwell, when nobody reads my posts? Wouldn't that be a waste of their resources? Surely Big Pharma is smarter than that.
I believe that jdjulie above was also trying to make the point that Big Pharma doesn't really care about C- and D-list quacks and hustlers like Coldwell -- certainly not enough to pay someone to blog about them.
DeleteAlso, the example that Orac cited was a pharmaceutical company that published a fake "medical journal" that was really nothing more than a big glossy ad for the company. It had nothing to do with Big Pharma paying to write blog posts about specific "natural cures experts." Still, it's a good example because it does point out that we need to question the sources of information that is published, and it is an example of a medical doctor with real credentials coming out in criticism of Big Pharma and of doctors who are shameless whores themselves.
Delete"Why would Big Pharma pay ME to write about Coldwell, when nobody reads my posts? Wouldn't that be a waste of their resources?"
DeleteVery simple: search engine optimization
When I was looking for pictures to put on this blog I came across several of your photoshops, a lot of people who will look for info on Dr. C will come across your BS filled blog instead of reading Dr. C's cancer cures, so they end up back with their allopathic doctors.
What caught my attention on your blog is these parts
"Flattery always works for a narcissist like me, but money works even better. Donate what you can, and help feed the Snark. Thank you!
PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online! "
It wouldn't be too hard for big pharma to make a contribution here, they even can do so anonymously
*******
Got a hot tip or idea for a Whirled Musings post? Or just want to share some intel? (I won't publish unless you give me permission.) Email me: cosmic."
The intel you're being fed comes from big pharma, they can rest assured since you don't handout your sources to your readers
This was actually one of your sillier comments, Florian, and since this entire blog and all of your arguments are profoundly silly, that's really saying something.
DeleteThe SEO argument won't fly. First of all, people who are truly looking for cancer cures aren't going to start or stop at my blog. If they're looking for info on natural cures there are dozens of sites that will come up first. If they are looking for info specifically on Coldwell, his hundreds of sites still hog the search engines. I don't have a problem with that. SEO has never been my concern, and I'm the only one running my blog. Big Pharma has nothing to do with it.
Also... the narcissist shtick is just that: a shtick, meant to be humorous, though true in the sense that we're all narcissists and egotists to a greater or lesser degree. But here's a secret: Flattery doesn't actually work on me.
Moreover, I have received a sprinkling of donations in the nearly five years since I first put the "Donation" button up there -- probably less than $1,500 all told. That's a pretty paltry return on my investment of time and effort. Each and every one of those donations had a name and email address attached to it, and every one of those names was someone whom I knew to be a regular reader of my blog.
And I do provide sources for all of the information I have ever written about Coldwell. A lot of the stuff I post about him consists of riffs about material on his own web sites or in his books, or the stupid things he writes on Facebook, including and especially the stupid lies he writes about me. I always provide links and screen shots. I've also cited and linked to older documents, such as that German document about his failed lawsuit back in the 1990s. It was there that I found the information about his name change.
As for some of the other claims you've made on this thread and others, regarding the bloggers ruining Coldwell's online businesses, he is and always has been his own worst enemy. HE is the one who is ruining it for himself. But being fired from GIN did cause a big interruption in his cash flow, from which I sense he has never really recovered.
When I look up videos or articles about Coldwell I always come across several negative comments calling him a scammer. They would have had no reasons to doubt him if there wasn't negative publicity to be found on among others your blog. In the case of people who are really suffering from cancer this can mean the difference between getting chemo, radiation and surgery or going the alternative path, or the difference between life and death. I've addressed this in my latest post as well.
DeletePeople have been questioning his claims and calling him a scammer for years -- even before I ever heard of him. It is perfectly reasonable to question Coldwell's claims because they are so exaggerated. Anybody who listens to him WITHOUT questioning what he says is either very naive, uneducated, desperate, or stupid -- or they have a financial and/or emotional stake in agreeing with his every utterance (or in the case of Dr. Thomas Hohn, pretending to do so. Dr. Hohn has reportedly said some pretty snarky things about Coldwell in unguarded moments). Now, Florian, you aren't stupid and you don't seem uneducated or desperate, so clearly, you have an emotional stake in believing him or pretending that you believe him.
DeleteAnd actually you won't find negative comments, or any comments, on most of his videos, because on most of them the comments are disabled.
Oh, I see you just changed the name of your blog to "Big Pharma Puppet." I guess that is more kid-friendly, even though it is still a lie.
ReplyDeleteSo, Florian... so far you've offered absolutely nothing to prove that I am a Big Pharma whore OR puppet, nothing to prove that I killed Coldwell's dog, nothing to prove that Bernie is a "Child Catcher" or Big Pharma shill, and nothing to substantiate Coldwell's claims about his accomplishments except for the boasting on his own web sites. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThe three books you pictured above are all basically variations of the same book, with different titles and covers and marginal differences in the content. I know because I have two of them: a 2010 printing of "The Only Answer to Cancer," and the 2008 typo-filled classic, "Instinct Based Medicine: How to Survive Your Illness...and Your Doctor." More than likely, "The Only Answer to Surviving Your Illness and Your Doctor" is just more of the same old same old. The title sort of gives it away.
Coldwell has boasted that "The Only Answer to Cancer" is a mega-bestselling book and that it is just about the bestselling book on that topic, ever. He brags that it has been through numerous printings. But it is basically a self-published book, printed through a print-on-demand company (as are all of his other books), which means that he can have small quantities printed any time he wants. My sense is that the main reason "Only Answer to Cancer" has been through so many revisions and updates is that he has to keep changing the dedications and the endorsements and the mutual sycophancy, because he keeps losing friends and making enemies. I bet the new version of "The Only Answer to Cancer" won't be kissing up to Kevin Trudeau or Fred van Liew like earlier editions. And he may be adding new content from some of his newer associates... though more than likely most of those associations will end in an adversarial manner like most of them do. (Reference Liana Werner-Gray, for instance...)
I only have speculations about you and Bernie, just like you both lack real hard proof against Dr. C.
DeleteBut I'm very glad you at least bought Dr. C's books :) However it remains pitiful you aren't becoming the champion you were born to be by constantly nitpicking the man.
I do admit my 2010 print of "The Only Answer to Cancer" was printed on quite bad quality paper. However the information contained was top notch
Poor quality paper was the least of that book's problems, Flor.
